From Pitchfork:

J Dilla to Release New EP of Vocal Tracks, Listen to “Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)”

From the upcoming album, The Diary

jdilla - diamonds & ice

Here’s another piece of the The Diary, the forthcoming collection of unheard J Dilla vocal tracks he recorded in the early 2000s. Following the first single, “Anthem”, b/w “Trucks”, this one is called “Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)” and was produced by Nottz. It’ll be released on the Diamonds & Ice EP, out August 27 via the Pay Jay imprint, run by Dilla’s family and estate.
Both “Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)” and “Ice (The Shining Pt. 2)” (the latter produced by Madlib) have circulated in early mixes previously, but these are the final versions. The EP also contains “The D”, an instrumental track by Madlib that Dilla had intended to record vocals over, but was unable to before his death.
The 12″ EP’s first pressing will be released on clear vinyl in a sleeve designed by Jeff Jank, featuring art by Shepard Fairey and B+.
As for the rest of The Diary, which was tentatively scheduled for release this spring, we’re waiting patiently.
Diamonds & Ice:
A1 Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)
A2 Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1) (alternate)
A3 Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1) (instrumental)
B1 Ice (The Shining Pt. 2)
B2 Ice (The Shining Pt. 2) (Ruff Draft version)

Thankfully, the Air Jordan IV “Black Cat” retro will return again during the first quarter of next year. Last seen in 2006, the “Black Cat” colorway is arguably one of the most underrated Jordans of all time. Scheduled to release sometime around January 2014, be sure to keep an eye out for more details regarding the retro release.

Surreal, super-saturated landscapes captured by France-based photographer David Keochkerian. Seasons seem reversed, with white trees appearing in spring, and bushes are transformed into something that looks like fragile blades of bubblegum.

Nike Air Revolution

The Nike Air Revolution silhouette gets a makeover in the form of a new colorway for the summer. Here we find the Air Revolution executed with a predominantly white upper, hinted with yellow, black, and grey accents. The most notable highlight is a Wolf Grey and black speckled panel laid over the side of the shoe, adding a nice contrast to the rest of the sneaker. A gold tongue and lace holes also add to the Air Revolution’s bright aesthetic, while coordinated tones along the protective midsole tie the sneaker together. Look for this edition of the Nike Air Revolution at retailers such as Titolo for approximately $181 USD.
